Essentially there is a differentiation made between mechanical processes and injection (low pressure injections) with capillary blocking or hydrophobic mediums. Implementation is carried out as per the Scientific Technical Committee instruction leaflets 4-7-02 or 4-4-04.

With the installation of horizontal blockage through low pressure injection the differentiation is made between cellular plugging, cellular tightening and hydrophobic plugging. Included in the best known systems is silicon micro emulsions. They are introduced into the wet brickwork by means of an injection packer (refer to Scientific Technical Committee leaflet 4-4-04) in a low pressure process, if necessary is a prior system affiliated drill-hole suspension or cement suspension required. Furthermore the knowledge is also required concerning parameters such as dampness contents, degree of wetness and possibly also the salt contents.
