Here is a possibility concerning soil contact brickwork being dealt with for a durable insulation without the necessity for evacuating or uncovering.
With building component gelatinization the brickwork is drilled in a defined pattern to approximately 4/5 of the brickwork thickness and then injected with polyurethane gel or poly-acrylic gel. With the suspended gelatinization the building component from brickwork or concrete is drilled completely through in a determine pattern and the polyurethane gel or poly-acrylic gel is injected with a special two component injection appliance, so that a continuous gel suspension is created between the brickwork and the soil. This is especially durable and resistant to pressurized water. In a similar process leaky expansion joints can be injected.
